Mass media reported this morning, November 16th, a press release for the so-called “ General Command of PYD “ stating the PYD forces withdrew from Manbij towards the east of Euphrates River.

We, at Manbij Military Council, refute such news and confirm that it is untrue. Moreover, we confirm that this is not the first time in which the terrorist group of PYD claims their withdrawal from the city. Again, the action of repeating their lies indicates their illegitimacy in the city of Manbij.

The above-mentioned group always sought to delude the public opinion and the international community that it is not an occupying party.

On the other hand, we announce our strict attitude that refuses any presence of this group including any related entities.

Furthermore, we consider the liberation of Manbij, and other cities that are occupied by PYD, is a national duty that we seek regardless of price we pay.
