The Syrian Coalition mourns the Minister of Local Administration Yaqoub Ammar and Deputy Minister of Services Jamal Alamarien in the Syrian interim government who were killed in a suicide bombing by the ISIS extremist group. The terrorist attack also left many people injured, some in critical condition.
The Syrian Coalition condemns this crime, stressing that the criminals who planned and carried out this heinous act will be punished. The terror of this extremist group, along with its manufactures and sponsors will inevitably come to an end.
We extend sincere condolences to the families and friends of minister Ammar and deputy minister Alamarien as well as to all the people of Syria as we wish the wounded a speedy recovery.
Over the past five and a half years, the Syrian people have proved that their revolution is a noble struggle for freedom, justice and dignity. The revolution will continue until terrorism, tyranny, and foreign occupation are defeated once and for all.
May our wounded recover, our detainees be free, and our fallen heroes rest in peace.
Long live Syria and its people, free and with honor.
