Syrian Coalition

The Syrian Coalition welcomes the decision of the Jordanian government to expel the Assad regime’s ambassador, Bahjat Suleiman, who had repeatedly “violated diplomatic protocol.” The Jordanian foreign ministry declared Suleiman persona non grata and gave him 24 hours to leave the country.

The Coalition extends its thanks to the people and government of Jordan, which has stood by the Syrian people calling for freedom and dignity. The Coalition also calls for similar moves that would increase the isolation of the Assad regime in the region as well as internationally.

May our wounded recover, our detainees be free, and our fallen heroes rest in peace.
