Syrian Coalition

The Syrian Coalition condemns the crimes carried out by the Iraqi Abu al Fadil al Abbas militias -in coordination with Assad’s forces- in the town of Khanasser, rural Aleppo. News of the summary execution of more than 26 young civilians by this militia was announced on Saturday.

The Syrian Coalition calls on the international community to designate this Iraqi militia, as well as other Iraqi militias fighting in Syria, as terrorist organizations. The Coalition also calls upon the Arab League to issue a resolution condemning the position of the Iraqi government in facilitating the entry of these militias into Syria. Furthermore, they must request that the Iraqi government better control its borders to prevent the arrival of more militiamen into Syria.

We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
