The Syrian Coalition condemns in the strongest possible terms the Assad regime's brutal and shocking murder of the British doctor, Abbas Khan. The death of Dr.Khan is the latest in a series of atrocities and crimes against humanity. The Coalition pledges to pursue and hold accountable the perpetrators of this crime, including those who ordered it.

The Syrian Coalition offers its deepest condolences to the family of doctor Abbas Khan, who showed exceptional bravery trying to ease the suffering of Syrian women and children affected by the conflict. Dr. Khan was a brave and noble man. He was and will always be a true hero in the eyes of the Syrian people.

We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
