Syrian Coalition

President of the Syrian Coalition, Ahmad al-Jarba, held extensive talks on Thursday with the Supreme Military Council (SMC) of the Free Syrian Army which comprises 30 leaders of brigades and battalions fighting the Assad regime across Syria. The meetings entailed discussions on the latest military developments on the ground.

SMC leaders reaffirmed their support for the Coalition as the civil authority that represents the Syrian people and seeks to achieve its aspirations of freedom and justice. SMC leaders also reiterated their complete commitment to the guiding principles of the Syrian Revolution.

President al-Jarba discussed with SMC leaders various ways to preserve infrastructure in liberated areas. He also listened to the brigade commanders' military plans aimed at breaking the siege on different towns and villages and liberating regime-occupied areas.

We ask for Mercy for our martyrs, health for our wounded, and freedom for our detainees.
