The Syrian Coalition congratulates the steadfast people of Syria and the brave soldiers of the Free Syrian Army on fully liberating the Minnigh Military Airport. This great victory brings great strategic impact on the ground, as Assad forces used this base to launch attacks on surrounding areas.

Liberating the Minnigh Military Airbase comes after a series of FSA successes. During the holy month of Ramadan, and despite Assad’s appalling massacres against the Syrian people, FSA fighters managed to accomplish a number of achievements on the ground, ushering in the start of a new stage.

May God have mercy upon our fallen heroes, without whom the Syrian people would not have been able to achieve this victory.

May God bless the tireless Syrian people who continue in their struggle to achieve their aspirations of freedom and dignity.
