CONDEMNING VIOLATIONS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW BY THE GOVERNMENT OF SYRIA

The SPEAKER pro tempore. The unfinished business is the vote on the

motion to suspend the rules and agree to the concurrent resolution (\[H.

Con. Res. 121\](https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-concurrent-resolution/121)) expressing the sense of the Congress condemning the

gross violations of international law amounting to war crimes and

crimes against humanity by the Government of Syria, its allies, and

other parties to the conflict in Syria, and asking the President to

direct his Ambassador at the United Nations to promote the

establishment of a war crimes tribunal where these crimes could be

addressed, as amended, on which the yeas and nays were ordered.

The Clerk read the title of the concurrent resolution.

The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the

gentleman from New Jersey (Mr. Smith) that the House suspend the rules

and agree to the concurrent resolution, as amended.
