اجتمعت في محافظة الحسكة السورية مجموعة الفصائل السريانية المسلحة وأعلنوا خلال الإجتماع تأسيس ما سُمي بـ "المجلس العسكري السرياني السوري" لمتابعة النضال في الثورة السورية ضد نظام بشار الأسد وشبيحته. وقال رئيس حزب الإتحاد السرياني العالمي ابراهيم مراد: "نعلن إنشاء هذا المجلس العسكري، دفاعاً عن أرضنا وشعبنا في سوريا ضد النظام البعثي المجرم والذي عانى منه شعبنا السرياني قتلاً وتدميراً وتهجيراً، وسندعم هذا المجلس بكل إمكاناتنا سياسيا وعسكريا ولوجستيا ولن نستكين حتى تحقيق كل الأهداف المرسومة لهذه الثورة المقدسة".

ثم صدر بيان عن قيادة "المجلس العسكري السرياني السوري" هنا نصه:

صلبة جذور شعبنا السرياني في أرض أجدادنا وآبائنا، وقاسية مراحل التاريخ التي عايشناها وتغلبنا على جورها من خلال بقائنا في وطننا.

ولأننا أبناء حضارة موغلة في عمق التاريخ الإنساني، فإننا نأبى الظلم على أنفسنا وعلى شركائنا في الوطن.

لم تهدأ محاولات إقصاء شعبنا وتهميشه وضرب وجوده على مر الأزمان، ولطالما عملت سيوف الظلم في رقاب أبناء شعبنا بغية تهجيره وإذابته وإخضاعه.

إلا أننا قد ورثنا حب البقاء في أرضنا والحفاظ على وجودنا وثقافتنا وتاريخنا رغم كل الصعاب. واليوم تفتك آلة القتل بالشعب السوري فنراه نازفاً مهجراً يعيش فصلاً من فصول الظلم القاهر.

أما نحن فطلاب سلام في زمن السلام، وأسود حرب في زمن الحروب، فإذا الحرب بدت أنيابها سارع أبطالنا نحو القتال. إننا نرى ضرورات المرحلة الراهنة قد فرضت علينا أن نقف مدافعين عن بقاء شعبنا وكرامته وحقوقه كاملة كقمم الجبال.

من هنا فإننا نعلن عن تشكيل "المجلس العسكري السرياني السوري" من أجل الدفاع عن كل أبناء شعبنا فلا تسول لأي جهة نفسها بالاعتداء على حقوق شعبنا بالعيش الكريم والبقاء في أرضه التاريخية. وسنقف في وجه كل من يحاول اللعب والمتاجرة بمصير شعبنا وإرادته وهويته.

كما أننا سنعمل بقوة من أجل إعادة حق شعبنا بأن يلعب الدور الريادي الذي يستحقه على كافة الأصعدة، فلا تهميش بعد اليوم ولا ظلم ولا هيمنة ولا تهجير.

ولأننا منذ البداية آمنّا بمشروعية ثورة الشعب السوري المحقّة فإننا سنكمل نضالنا مع شركائنا في الوطن وفي خندق واحد من أجل تحرير سوريا وإسقاط نظام البعث المستبد والانتقال الى دولة عادلة ديمقراطية تعددية مدنية.

نحن في المجلس العسكري السرياني قيادةً وأفراداً نعاهد جميع أبناء شعبنا في كل أنحاء العالم بأننا سنحافظ على شعبنا ونحميه على كامل مساحة أرض الآباء والأجداد، وعليه فإننا نناشد وننادي شبابنا الغيورين على شرف وكرامة هذا الشعب أن يهبوا لنصرة شعبنا العريق وينضموا الى المجلس العسكري السرياني فنساهم جميعاً بأداء واجبنا المقدس والتاريخي تجاه شعبنا.

سلاحنا لرفع الظلم ولإعادة الحق والدفاع عن شعب يأبى التهجير والظلم والإقصاء.

Syriac Military Council in Syria

Our Syriac people roots it’s more than solid in the land of our ancestors and parents, we had a severe stages of history but we overcame on it through our survival in our homeland.

Because we the sons of civilization far back deep into human history we reject any kind of injustice to ourselves and to our nation. Many attempts of exclusion our people and marginalized and hit his presence did not subside Over time, and as long as the injustice Swords killing our people in order to migrate and melte us. However, we have inherited love to stay in our land and to maintain our presence and our culture and our history, despite all odds.

Today! The Syrian people is attacked, killed and live a dark chapter of injustice. We are looking for peace in a time of peace, and we are war heroes in time of war.

The necessities of the current phase has imposed us to stand and defend for the survival of our people and the dignity and rights.

Because of this, we announce the formation of the Syriac Military Council, defending all our people do not beg anyone attack the rights of our people to live decently and stay in our historic homeland. We will stand in face of anyone who tries to destroy our identity. As we will work vigorously to restore our people's right to play the leading role it deserves at all levels, not marginalized after the day we will never accept any kind of injustice and domination and displacement. Because we believe the legitimacy of the Syrian people revolution we will be with our partners at home in the same trench in order to overthrow the Ba'ath regime.

We in the Syiac military council, leadership and members we pledge all our people in all parts of the world that we will guard our people and protect the whole area of land of our forefathers, and therefore we appeal and call for our brave youth to come and support our heritage and join the Syriac military council than we can participate and perform our sacred duty and historical towards our people.
