Statement on the massacres committed in Deir Ez-Zour

Statement on the massacres committed in Deir Ez-Zour

Praise be to God, the Patron of the oppressed and the Subduer of oppressors, and prayers and peace be upon the leader of mujahideen Prophet Muhammad and all his family and his companions.

Subsequent massacres have been committed against our brothers, the people of Deir Ez-Zor. They are under joint attack by the International Coalition air force and Russian and Assad's air forces. Assad army, supported by Safavid (Iranian) malevolent militias, is marching on the villages of the province while from the other side, there are the racist mercenary militias so-called SDF. Day after day, we witness shameful massacres against humanity. All this is done, seen and heard by the whole world. Murder, destruction, displacement and ethnic cleansing are all happening under the pretext of fighting terrorism. The tragedy of Mosul with all its horrible details is being repeated on the land of Deir Ez-Zour. Daily massacres, scenes of mass murdered, wounded and displaced people became daily news and mere numbers in the civilized world's news in the twenty-first century!!!

Concerning the current events in Deir Ez-Zor, Raqqa and their rural areas of genocide and displacement, the Syrian Islamic Council:

1. Condemns and denounces these brutal massacres, condemns such global silence on the criminals and calls upon all brothers and international and humanitarian organizations, headed the United Nations, to take action to stop this bloody barbarity against our people in Raqqa and Deir Ez-Zour.

2. Secondly, we plead, in the name of Islam and brotherhood in Islam and humanity, all those who can assist our displaced brothers who fled this brutal murder. The population of those areas has fled into the desert, the countryside and villages, but no one has offered them anything but the small amounts, which hardly can sustain them and does not allay their hunger.
