The Syrian Coalition confirms that all the meetings its delegation has recently held in the Belgian capital Brussels were public meetings attended by various media outlets.

The Coalition stresses that all the meetings in Brussels were held with the National Coordination Commission for Democratic Change in an effort to promote cooperation between the two sides; serve the interests of the Syrian people; and to discuss and agree on the points made in the closing joint statement of the meetings held between the two sides on 13-15 June 2016.

The Coalition emphasizes that all reports about the Coalition holding secret meetings with other parties than the ones stated above are untrue. The Coalition confirms that its delegation has not held any meetings whatsoever with the Democratic Union Party (PYD) or with any of its affiliate groups or representatives.
